Cars are indispensable and convenient tools in modern society and have been used without heaviest trouble since their invention some 150 years ago, save for the environmental pollution they cause. Like many other modern conveniences, almost no attention is paid to its working principle and people receive only vague images from the propaganda that the companies provide. But, the car engines are far more crucial for grasping the mechanism that the human being has ever created than other black boxes including computers.
