A notion of linear map falsely preserving Moore-Penrose-symmetric
matrices is originally proposed, which firstly solves the problem of
the extension for linear preserver problems from algebras of square
matrices to that of non-square matrices. The characterization of
linear false preserver is given as follows.
(a) If then f is a linear map falsely
preserving MPS matrices, if and only if f has one of the
following forms: (i) (ii) for all (iii) for all
(b) If then f is a linear map falsely
preserving MPS matrices, if and only if f has one of the
following forms: (i) (ii) for all
Moore-Penrose-symmetric matrix, linear preserver, linear false preserver.
