Abstract

Using the partial fraction decomposition method, we give new proofs of some q-series identities related to divisor functions in [10] and two finite q-series transformations in [8]. Likewise, some new q-series identities are obtained, including generalizations of some main results in [10] and generalizations of special cases of the q-Pfaff-Saalschütz summation theorem and the q-Chu-Vandermonde identity.
