Abstract

Using semigroups theory, regularity results and a theorem associated to the Lumer Phillips theorem, we prove the existence of global solution for a coupled wave system. Also, using multiplicative techniques and the classic Gearhart theorem, introduced in Liu-Zheng [7], we prove that energy associated to the system decays exponentially to zero when Here we give two new and interesting proofs.

Stability for a coupled wave system has been considered in [13], where they used PrĂ¼s result [12].
